just as gayle was reflecting on how little excitement there has been on recent mha rides and campouts a whiff of smoke drifted across the mt. diablo treetops and we rounded the corner to see a white plume billowing from the canyons we has just ridden out of.
complete with sirens, helicoptors, and even airplanes in response, the nearby fire has given us plenty of excitement for this campout.
